Scottish author, poet, and Christian minister. A pioneering figure in fantasy literature, writing works such as 'Phantastes,' 'The Princess and the Goblin,' and 'Lilith.'

Faith & Testimony

A Congregationalist minister whose theology of God's love permeated all his writings. C.S. Lewis called MacDonald his 'master' and credited MacDonald's 'Phantastes' with 'baptizing his imagination.'
