Biography
Dutch Reformed theologian whose four-volume Reformed Dogmatics is considered one of the greatest systematic theologies ever written. Professor at Kampen and the Free University of Amsterdam.
Faith & Testimony
Bavinck's vision was to engage modern thought without compromising Reformed orthodoxy. His Reformed Dogmatics masterfully integrates biblical theology with philosophy and culture. He wrote: 'The essence of the Christian religion consists in the reality that the creation of the Father, devastated by sin, is restored in the death of the Son.'
