Biography

American pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City. Under his leadership, the church grew from fewer than 20 members to over 10,000. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, directed by his wife Carol, has won multiple Grammy Awards.

Cymbala transformed a dying inner-city church through prayer. His Tuesday night prayer meetings became legendary, drawing thousands. His book 'Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire' recounts how God revived the Brooklyn Tabernacle through fervent prayer.
