Biography
English writer and Puritan preacher best known for 'The Pilgrim's Progress,' one of the most significant works of English literature and the most widely read Christian allegory ever written.

A Baptist preacher who was imprisoned for 12 years for preaching without a license. During his imprisonment he wrote 'The Pilgrim's Progress,' an allegory of the Christian journey from sin to salvation that has never been out of print.
