Biography

American Reformed Baptist pastor, author, and theologian. He served as pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis for 33 years and founded Desiring God Ministries. He has authored over 50 books including 'Desiring God' and 'Don't Waste Your Life.'

Piper is known for his concept of 'Christian Hedonism' — the idea that 'God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.' His expository preaching, passionate delivery, and emphasis on God's sovereignty have shaped a generation of Reformed evangelicals.
