Biography

German professor of theology, priest, and seminal figure in the Protestant Reformation. His Ninety-five Theses challenged the Catholic Church's practices and launched the Reformation.

Faith & Testimony

Luther's rediscovery of justification by faith alone (sola fide) through Scripture alone (sola scriptura) transformed Christianity. His translation of the Bible into German made Scripture accessible to ordinary people.
