Welsh Protestant minister who left a promising career in medicine to preach. Served as pastor of Westminster Chapel in London for 30 years, becoming one of the most influential preachers of the 20th century.

Lloyd-Jones was a passionate defender of expository preaching and Reformed theology. His multi-volume studies on Romans and Ephesians, and his book Preaching and Preachers, have shaped generations of pastors. He emphasized the necessity of experiencing God's power, not merely knowing about Him.
