Tim Keller

September 23, 1950 – May 19, 2023

Pastor, Author & Apologist

There is no party like the one we are going to

Biography

Founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, which grew from a small group to over 5,000 members. Author of The Reason for God, The Prodigal God, and numerous other influential books bridging Reformed theology and urban culture.

Faith & Testimony

Keller made Reformed theology accessible to skeptics and seekers in one of the most secular cities in America. He demonstrated that rigorous theological thinking and compassionate cultural engagement are not opposites. Near the end of his life, battling cancer, he wrote about his confidence in the resurrection: 'There is no party like the one we are going to.'
